    How often do you clean up your Facebook friends list?

    I will go over my Facebook friends list once every few months to delete any very inactive friends or people that I am no longer friends with. Most times, the people deleted will only have started out as a friend of a friend before being added.

    I don't add many people to my friend list for personal reasons. So I don't really have to clean off the list too often.

    I agree with Beverly on this. I have never had to clean up my list except for once when I deleted a few people that were slamming me.

    As I had mentioned in one thread, I check my friends list on Facebook by the end of the year. I am maintaining less than 1,000 friends because I don’t really need too many so I can comfortable read all their posts and react as well. But in cleaning my friends list? I don’t remember unfriending in my list even if they are not that active anymore. I just let their names stay on my list since it is for free anyway. I have noticed one friend who was inactive for more than a year became active again. She sent me a message that she had forgotten about her account. Senior moment huh.

    I do my Facebook cleaning every January so that's only once a year. I remove, block or unfriend only the undesirable once.
