Search engine crawl your website see everything on the website every text, media etc and also see links that you not include spam for more consultancy visit.

I am not an authority on the subject but let me try on what I know. Search engines have the crawlers that are also called spider bots. They crawl on websites to check for some information that they need like the date of the most recent uploaded content and keywords. I think the crawler also checks on the title and description of the web page. After getting the information, the crawler sends the report to the server of the search engine.
