    Depending on content types you can do various kinds of content marketing. If you have products or services to sell, you can do search engine marketing. Search engine marketing can be done by using Adword campaign or Media.net ad campaign. You can also use paid advertising service on twitter and facebook. With paid advertising, you can drive sales. In case you don't have a budget for content marketing, you can use free channels such as social networks, social bookmarking sites or forums, and blogs.

    I didn’t know that uploading contents to your website is also considered content marketing. In that case, I’d say the content that you write for your site should be relevant to the niche and also to the thing that you are promoting. So if your niche is about pets and you are promoting a particular breed for the content that you are posting then the keywords should be related to the breed and that will be connected to the niche as well.
