I am amazed that there is now SMO or social media optimization. It is new to me although my idea is you are optimizing your social media profile or perhaps your Facebook Page so that it can get more followers and traffic. The more followers you have then the greater the image that you will have in social media. SEM is search engine marketing which means you advertise in search engine results.
