    You need visitors with any Alexa Toolbar installed. Even visiting your own site with it installed daily should put you under 1 million.

    The ranking of Alexa is based on traffic which means Google being the number 1 website has the most traffic and Youtube is number 2 which means Youtube gets the second highest number of traffic. And if you care to know, Facebook is only 3rd in the list of Alexa. So if you want to increase the Alexa rank of your website, work on the promotion of your website in order to get more traffic that thereby will effect in increase in the Alexa rank of your website.
