    This is also my question when I was new in this site because I was wondering in the first place why this site is named as SEO clerks. Second point is the meaning of SEO and what it is all about. In almost a year of my presence in this site I have learned so many things about SEO but I can say that maybe I am just halfway in the lessons because SEO is expanding with the growth that creates new terms and new activities.

    From what I understand based on my readings in the discussions on this site, SEO is search engine optimization which means the capability of the website not only to be found by the search engines but also to be ranked high. When your link appears on the first page of the search engine list, that means your website is very good in its SEO much more if your link is the number 1 in the search list. And SEO has so many ways and means to achieve a high rank in the search list.
