    Why are some searches on Google search very laggy?

    Sometimes when I make a search on Google search, the page will freeze up my browser and cause my computer to become unresponsive. That is true if I leave the search page open in the background for reference. Is this a common thing to happen?

    That only happens to me when I'm searching something on Google books. Maybe they run lots of scripts on that section of the website.

    yes that happens to me too i was thinking that problem with my pc or brower but it looks some search maybe using flash and hard scripts that get you crashed

    I think it is more of an internet issue rather than Google issue.

    That’s also what I think that the problem is either caused by your internet service or the browser. Google will not have that kind of problem unless there is a notice that something has gone wrong and that means it is not only you that is experiencing the laggy search. Have you tried using Google on another browser?
