I second that, use attractive anchor to get better CTR from forum readers. Also bookmark your video through top social bookmarking sites like Reddit, Digg... And if you have a website, you can embed your video on most visited page with autoplay function.

This idea would work well as most forums are open to the idea of video links being in signature lines, even those sites that don't allow linking to a commercial site. The video is often seen as a useful and acceptable link for a signature line.

If you have an active account in social media, you can post about your video with a short description. Make your post interesting and not just an ordinary post. An example is a video about your dog. The post can be about a dog that is unusual even if your video is just ordinary. Your friends and followers in social media will be intrigued and will click on the URL of your video.
