Complement, blend or contrast your ad units?

Which style of color do you prefer for your Adsense units? Do you use colors which complement, blend or contrast with your site colors?

I like ads which complement and not clash with my site. Though you can always include darker color ads to contrast with your white website and that will draw attention to them.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Creating ad units on your site that look attractive (or blend in with the background) are likely to increase your click throughs on ads. Though you will not want the ads to appear so much like content or you can risk being banned by Adsense.
