    Do you outline your writing?

    I love to use outlines when I'm creating my Hubpages. It's easy enough to do. Just figure out the main topics and any subtopics you want to talk about. And, then each subtopic becomes part of your outline. As I complete research, I can add new written material under each subtopic to flesh it out.

    Do you use an outline for your articles or fiction?

    I create very simple outlines, nothing too complicated. I don't really know how to create outlines for writing. Most times, it's just my thoughts jotted down on a notepad.

    I might write down some highlights of things I want to talk about in a blog post or article especially if there are going to be multiple parts.

    The article outline is the best tool for me. The items therein comprise a sort of summary which makes writing a breeze unless you don't really know what you are writing about. Preparing the outline is like writing the article or the story. The points are sorted in a way to make the flow of the story comfortable to read. And when there is lack of information, that's the time to do a reasearch to expand the outline. I can't write a good article or story without the outline.

    There was a time when I used to create an outline before I began writing. However, I gained experience, I no longer do that. Instead, I research on the topic, make notes, write down the important points and then elaborate the points. I can not spend hours for an article that pays me just $5. For an article that earns me just $5, I don't want to spend more than two hours. Therefore, I don't make an outline.
