How do you write, when you're not in the mood?

Some days you will have to write, even when you're sick or not in the mood to write?

So how do you get your content created even when you're struggling with writer's block?

Do you have any special routine?

When I have times like those, I write when I feel it. It's not that I get writers block, but writing takes certain emotions. I find it impossible to place my fingers on the keys if I'm not in the mood. Sometimes I just go for a walk, or catch up on some housework, crank up the tunes and picture the topic you're writing about. It comes around more naturally that way, then forcing yourself... I can't seem to force myself to write. It's more beneficial for me to just keep my mind busy doing other things, and slowly incorporating it into my thinking...lol

Amazingly, I get some of my best ideas for articles and blog posts while cooking. It's just such a relaxing activity that I can zone out and let my mind go to wonderful places. I rarely get these type of creative impulses planted in front of my computer as then it becomes more technical. And, for me, idea generation is one of the biggest parts of writing.

I don't write if I don't feel like it or otherwise the results will be subpar. It doesn't take me very long to write what I need and if I can just wait a few hours, I will feel rested and can get back to work.

I write things on my blog and save for myself as a private post and use bits and pieces of this private writing in my public posts later on especially on days that I don't feel like writing. There's no need to publish everything you think the second you think of it and holding onto some of your writing is a good way to stockpile on useful posts later on.

I'm lucky not to be under any pressing deadlines for clients at the moment however I have a very lofty goal to publish 100 blog posts for a new blog in one month's time. This will take all my concentration and effort and require that I push through any pain or discomfort that I'm feeling to reach my goal.

I write all my blog posts at least two weeks ahead (except for breaking news), so there is no risk of feeling pressured to publish. In this way, I can beat the tendency to procrastinate and am very well prepared for publication date when it arrives. So I never really feel, not in the mood to write as I'm always working on some project.

I don't have writer's block, however, sometimes I feel too lazy to write. If I am feeling laziness but I have to write any how, I will first of all boost my mood. I do various things to boost mood, for example, I watch movies, I surf the internet, I listen to music. I do activities that will uplift my mood. When I am in mood, I can write. I never sit to write when I feel like not writing. When I force myself to write when I am not in mood, I will produce nothing, even if I produced an article, it will be lame article.

I write when I'm not in the mood, though it turns out that I'm forcing myself to do so and not as a result of the fact that I enjoy writing such at that particular time. Writer's block is real and one that has limited writers from expressing themselves at a particular time in words, but if these writers can look at the financial involved in writing, then they can overcome such with step by step.

When I not in the mood to write but I just know I need to write,I just look at the benefits I will gain from the writing and my body will chin up and that why I like paying people for tasks,I know that money no matter how small will be a motivating factor.

Most writers I know tell me that the mood is the indication of the quality of writing. That’s good enough reason to check your mood before starting to write. When I am not in the mood to write, I try to motivate myself by asking questions like why I need to write. And when my mood doesn’t change then I wouldn’t write. Perhaps I would go out and do something else like shopping to divert my attention. And later or the next day, my mind is ready to write because I am in the right mood.
