    How much money would a translator earn?

    I would like to offer my services as a translator for ebooks and other online web documents. How much money could an experienced document translator earn for such a service online? I want to charge what is comparable for someone working offline.

    Translators are paid per word or page depending on the client or company they are working for. I have seen translation fees at $12 and up per page.

    You can't get a fixed amount because different client comes with different bargain
    I think the bargain should be per word.

    Get to freelancing sites to know more about the bargain and it would be more if you can translate into languages that others can't.

    Earning as a translator depends majorly on how many languages would you be able to translate on those sites. Also, understanding how to speak rare and native languages of countries can go a long way in bring unique work, with a higher pay, for you to translate for the clients.
