    How long did it take you to make the first sale?

    I'd like to get some idea as to how long it takes an average freelancer to make their first sale, here on SEOClerks or as a freelancer. Thanks for your input.

    I think that for everyone it just depends on what you have to offer. Once you get started and get positive feedback, others will see what you have to offer and will take you up on your services.

    For me personally, it took me about a week and a half or so; give or take a couple of days. But keep in mind, that was before the change over, so I was able to bump my services up to five times within a 24 hr period without having the worry to pay for my bumps.

    I had to check my list of completed services to be sure. But from what I can see, I joined on Oct 21, 2011 and got my first sale on Oct 22, 2011.

    The answer to the question depend on what you are offering.
    You can make your first sales even the first day you created your account.
    As I Said, it depends on what you offer.


    The more competition you have from similar services, the longer you will have to wait for your first sale. This is true of any site you are working on.

    I joined in 2012 and made my first sale in 2014. But since I made that sale there is no stopping.

    Took about a week. The first few sales were hard to get. But once you build some reputation, and get above level 1, I've started getting more frequent orders. The hardest part is surpassing the level 1, after that it gets whole lot easier.
