    Do you welcome negative feedback/criticism?

    When a client criticizes your work or offers negative feedback, how do you handle it? Do you take it personally or see this as an opportunity to learn?

    I value my customers experience, so if they didn't like what I gave them I will either redo the work or give them a full refund. Yes, I do think it is a good way to improve upon your services and make them better.

    If the client is not overly rude, but offering helpful suggestions, then what they are saying will be very welcome.

    Being open to suggestions is always a good thing as it helps you grow as a freelancer and improves your thinking skills as you have to analyze how the client's request could be integrated into your work regime.

    I like it when buyers are very specific as to what they need on their site. And, I don't take this as criticism but more as guidance for how a job needs to be done. The specific instructions give me direction so that I can do the job right from the start, so there are no complaints later.

    If I'm going in the wrong direction then I would like it if the buyer would tell me so that I can do what they really want. That's better than waiting until after the fact to suffer from negative feedback posted.

I like constructive criticism because it gives you the opportunity to grow and expand with your freelance career. You can learn a lot from your clients, if you keep your mind open!     This is when constant communication comes in handy, as I prefer to provide samples of the content I'm writing for them, to ensure I'm on the right page. I like constructive criticism because it gives you the opportunity to grow and expand with your freelance career. You can learn a lot from your clients, if you keep your mind open! Do you welcome negative feedback/criticism?


    Do you just send a paragraph or two of your work or how long is the sample you are sending to the client to proof?

    It really depends on how well they communicate with me, actually.
    If they're really great with communication without making you wait, then I provide them with whatever feels comfortable. However if I suspect a problem, then I send it when it's complete, then do adjustments if needed. But so far I haven't had to make any adjustments Do you welcome negative feedback/criticism?

    Negative feedback might sting emotionally but it can be for the best, especially if you have not done your best on a job. You should take a step back and reassess your work style and ask yourself if any of the comments made are true and relevant and if so, then how can you adjust your work to become better?

    I am open to negative feedback and criticism. If there are no negative feedback and criticism, I will become too complacent and chances of improvement will be nil. negative feedback and criticism will inform me what should be done for improvement. I know if there are too many negative feedbacks, your sales might hamper. Too much criticism will damage your business. However, there is also bright side of negative feedback and criticism, you will know what should be done to offer better products and services.
