Write the reason you're deleting this FAQ
Here's why you should never discount your products or services. Sure it gives you a temporary sales spike, but once you train your customers to expect a discounted service, they won't buy without it. Also, discounts erode your brand value, making your customers see your products as cheap.

I can see how this comment, "discounting is for dummies" would be offensive or controversial for some people. But, there is a huge difference between offering cheap services and discounting high quality services that are usually priced more. Many of the cheap services are not actually worth a lot of money. So when they are marked down, it's just a tactic to get more sales.

I find this opens up a little bit of controversial discussion.
Though the idea makes perfect sense (there's no doubt about that), but this site, mainly has services for discount, or services under $5, not all of them, but the majority.
The saying "time is money" is relevant in this video, however...
You put your service on special, increasing your revenue, making you busy busy busy.
Since the buyer isn't paying full price, are you being paid the rightful amount for your time spent throughout the day you're working your tail off?
If you don't have your listing at a discount, however you're offering "free merchandise", are you still being paid for your time spent. He kind of contradicts himself.
