    How to manage your time during the work day

    I keep a written to do list in front of me next to my computer so that I'm constantly reminded of all the things I need to do during the day. That way I'm never distracted from work. What things do you do to stay on target during the work day?

    I have found that keeping lists helps me know what I need to do and stay on task. Then I am not so overwhelmed either because I know exactly what I have to do each and every day.

    So much time during the day is eaten up by useless activities such as Facebook. It cuts down on my distraction times if I will set an egg timer to go off before I check emails or get on Facebook. When the alarm goes off, I shut the page and move on.

    I also have a list of chores that I need to attend to. Without that list, I tend to forget a task and it's being irresponsible when a task that is needed for the day is not done. I am truly busy and my usual day is hectic so I need to have a work plan everyday so I can accomplish what I need to accomplish.

    I have work pad that I scheduled all my jobs and chores for the day and sometimes I even accompany each with designated time and I don't go beyond that time for each task and it helps me go through the day finishing all I have got to do.
