Anti-spam and copying...

It seems some people are so lazy, they don't even write their own descriptions of their services. They rather steal description of reputed members (that took hours of optimization, checking conversions and so on). If something could be done to fight duplicated descriptions, level of quality here would increase.

Also, like someone else said, I suggest sticky threads with rules on every sub-forum. There are probably 10-20k sellers here and if everyone would start hijacking threads with irrelevant posts advertising their services, we would get nowhere.

We have code in place which prevents duplicate titles/descriptions but it is fairly easy to get around. If someone is copying your title or descriptions, please report it and it will be deleted.

I agree. And, if I see this type of self promotion from now on in threads, I will delete it.

Many times at forum I told people to stop self promotion, they do, but within few hours they get deleted.
