Badges - New feature

Not sure if anyone thought about this but i personally think it would be good idea to have:
- profile badge
- 1 or more gigs badge
- 1 or more affiliate gigs badge
could be done in javascript (or HTML) so people and affiliates could show it easy on their own websites.

How about this?

Don't you see? There would be more exposure for your gigs = more sales. or could be "Hire Me" sort of offer on your or someone else website

Hi anweb I think this is a superb idea and badges are excellent for increasing exposure. User profile badges are used by many sites. I think there's one you can generate on most big social networking sites like Facebook and LinkedIn that show off some of your attributes. I really like the idea of having my own SEOClerks Seller Badge that showed some of my most recent stats and things like user level, response time, feedback ratio, latest feedback or latest status update or something along with my avatar or something. Similar to what you see when you hover over someone's username now and the little popup box shows with their username, online/offline status etc shows on it.

I've just created a new faq about this after I came across another thread about this Seller Badges which I think is a good idea and it's good to see that other people also think it's a good idea and support it too. I did mention there that I remember there was some script I was using on a forum once that created a PNG file on the fly with all my details of the gaming clan I was in. I know geeky right but the script was very nifty as instead of showing a banner in your sig area, you could put this link in image bb code and it would show all your latest stats like kills, kd ratio etc etc. I can't remember what the blighter was not but something like that would be absolutely perfect!

Anyway I'm sure there's lots of ways this can be done like you say with javascript or html or php or something! I'm looking into it now and am definitely going to crack this nut as it will be really handy to increase exposure and get more sales and affiliates. These sorts of things can look really attractive and if they're interactive in some way as well that would be even better but we'll see what we can't do! ;)
