    Make Your Posts STANDOUT...


    The native text editor here on the CodeClerks Forum is both graceful and powerful as a means of getting your point across publishing-wise, but I'm always struck dumb when I read posts here and in the Marketplace. It seems that no one is bothering to exploit the full-range of the editor. When I found out that the codebase was BBCode, explosions went off in my head. In particular, when I found out that no one was using it, it was just rank salivation. WHY?

    Because no one (I could see) was formatting their posts. I was now given an avenue from which to standout from the crowd. To be fair, I know that many people aren't well-versed in BBCode, but I'm going to tell you why you should dive in head-first;

    1 ) It's EAAAAAAAAAAAASY - once you get used to the square brackets, you'll find that BBCode is SIMILAR to HTML syntax

    2) Forum Posts Stand Out - What's going to get noticed; the post WITH BBCode formatting or the one without?

    and, MOST IMPORTANTLY

    3) Ad Postings Stand Out - On both SEOClerks and Listing Dock, ALL my ads are in BBCode - TO STAND OUT

    I'm adept at BBCode, as well as two or three other variations (VBulletin, etc.) of it. I'd recommend to everyone to get on board with post formatting - do yourself a favor and go to BBCode.org and dive into the "Reference" section. Don't let me be the only one dominating the boards here (lol!). And don't forget to use the editor "Preview" function button (keeps precision posting tight).

    Very clever .I must say that your posts always stand out. I did not know that it was a strategy, that is good to know. I guess it depends on what your aim is. Maybe some people don't really want to stand out. I have seen people try and stand out here by using a larger font, personally I skip that post because it irritates me. I have seen people complain that it is hard to buy a service on SEO because all the posts are the same, I guess this is one way to stand out.
