Here are some of the ways to increase ecommerce site sales:
search engine marketing: market your sites through Google, Yahoo and Bing. When you market your sites on search engines, your site will appear on paid list. This will help to drive traffic and sales.
social media marketing: market your websites on various social media sites. you can use social networks as well as social bookmarking sites
SEO: when you do seo, your site's visibility on search engines will improve. When the site is ranked high, you will gain organic traffic. Organic traffic has a better conversion rate.

What you really need to do is drive traffic, so you need to advertise and promote the products more.People might not get to know the products without letting them know, so promote the products at all times.

Write reviews about the producs, stating it benefits and uses, let them as reasons to want to purchase and share it on social media, blogs and forums.

Most importantly you need consistently don't listen to bogus stories by scammers.

You should promote products as well as the site. You can start a PPC or CPA campaigns. In PPC campaign you are giving money to the ad network for ad clicks. On CPA campaign, you are giving money for ad conversion, sales or registration for instance.
