Why so many bots online at the SEOClerks forum?

I checked out the who's online link at the top right hand side of the forum.

https://www.seoclerks.com/forum/online/

And, I noticed a lot of bot activity from Google and Baidu. At one point, there were 50 bots online at the same time.

Why so many bots on the forum? What attracts these search bots to the site and is this a good thing?

Typically, these search engine bots from Google and other sites will come to the forum if there is a lot of posting activity. That's a really good thing for us as it means that Google is reading and indexing our forum pages, so we will get listed highly for more search terms on Google.

This page lists every forum visitor and what page they are looking at. That includes bots which often come to a page when it is updated.
