I have to make a forum post about giving contact information via conversations and the nightmare of giving away your contact information. I shouldn't even have to make this thread but unfortunately I feel the need to post.
1. Do not ever give out your contact information. You don't personally know anyone on the internet. It doesn't matter if you have spoken to them for years. Rule #1, don't trust anyone. 
2. Don't contact the person whom gave you their contact information. 99.9999% of the time they are trying to scam you. They need your information to help scam you.
Scamming/Fraud on the internet is the #1 crime via the internet. Usually no authority can help you because it's too frequent and there isn't enough resources to help. Also, a lot of the scamming is across borders and then other rules and regulations apply. It's a total nightmare!
Once the victim is scammed they feel violated, insecure, etc. It's a horrible feeling to have been scammed. Please do not give out contact information and report messages that have this information. Usually staff is quick to find it, sometimes they miss it, sometimes it gets unseen. You can help by reporting these type of messages with contact information.
Skype contact information is the #1 thing asked via conversations. Do NOT give it away. These users whom ask for your skype or give theirs away so easily is trying to scam you. Then you would submit a ticket, and the only thing staff can do is determine if you have been scammed off-site from a SEOclerks user and possibly ban the account if there is evidence. SEOclerks doesn't like fraud, SEOclerks has absolutely no tolerance for fraud of any kind.
Please do not give your contact information, or contact anyone off-site. Report any messages that tell you contact off-site. SEOclerks support can help you onsite usually, but they can not assist off-site.
Especially now, since the economy is crap, more scams are everywhere.. gotta be safe and protect your details!

Excellent post. We've seen so many people attempt to use direct payments/contact as a scam method, this post is certainly warranted (and needed).

Another thing, a friend of mine warned me about adding people as Skype is considered DDOS central. So now, I don't add anyone I don't actually know in real life.
