    Using a site like webs

    I am using Webs as my site. They give a free template and pages to expand. I like the site as it has a nice clean look without lots of ads. Do you use one of these type of instant sites like webs.com?

    These sites are usually just meant for beginning webmasters. If you want something more advanced or sophisticated looking, you will want to build your own or commission a site to be built to your specifications.

    It would be good if you create your own site using your own hosting and domain name, this way you have flexibility, much control and you can do whatever you want.

    It would be good if you create your own site using your own hosting and domain name, this way you have flexibility, much control and you can do whatever you want.

    And, with your own site/hosting there is very little risk your site will be shut down for posting links or advertising messages as it might if you use one of these webs type sites.

    To be honest, I do not like Webs and I think there are better options.

    For instance, I think Weebly is way better than Webs. On Weebly, you can add a custom domain name without being a premium member (something you cannot do on Webs).

    I have never used a site like webs. But it does sound pretty interesting.
