Would you find use for a "Gig Barter System" for Sellers who want to Exchange/Trade services with each other?
It may help the overall Buyer Experience here if Sellers were able to trade one Expertise for another.
Perhaps SEOClerks can make it a requirement that the Seller "Seeking" to trade Services with another must offer in exchange, a service that is of "Higher Value" to whichever Seller they approach.
The "difference" would simply go to SEOClerks as their Commission.
For example, if you have a service that is $5 and I want to trade you for one of mine, I would have to offer you one of MY services that is at least $6.
SEOClerks gets $1 (which is taken from the "Seeking Seller's" Balance), we Trade Services and can also leave each other Feedback!!
How does that sound?? Anyone??

We're also thinking about adding other marketplace items that are completely free (namely domains and website sales) where the winning bidders work out the payment details on their own (although we'd probably allow to you pay for listing upgrades ;)).
It doesn't really matter if it brings us income or not, as long as it helps our community we will consider it. So any idea is a good one! This actually isn't the first time we've had this idea. Originally I wanted to do a "credit" based system for trading but couldn't work out the details of it. Perhaps a [WTB] section where users can list what they want and what they are willing to trade. No money involved in the transaction and it is up to users to PM each other and complete the trade. We're also thinking about adding other marketplace items that are completely free (namely domains and website sales) where the winning bidders work out the payment details on their own (although we'd probably allow to you pay for listing upgrades ;)). It doesn't really matter if it brings us income or not, as long as it helps our community we will consider it. So any idea is a good one!
