What about forum members who block ads?

So many people are using the ad blocking software now and it shuts off your chance to show ads to that person. If everyone who visits your forum or site uses the ad blocker, then you would never make any money as your ads would not be shown.

Would it be OK to just block those people who are using ad blocker?

If that's your only way to earn money, then you might have no choice but to block those members or visitors who use the ad block.

How is it fair that you are not allowed to earn money?

Take note that it's not easy to get new members. If you block a member for reasons of ad blocker, that would be to your disadvantage. What if all the members of your community has ad blockers the that would mean you will block all of them. That is tantamount to closing down your forum. Maybe you can send those members a message about the issue. A request is favorable to you than blocking off that member.
