    Can a forum with little content succeed?

    If you have a new forum with little content (such as only a few dozen posts), do you think it can still rank in Google search or attract new members?

    My idea of a forum is a site with dynamic posting. If your forum has a few posts, I don't think it can attract new members because obviously, the forum will rely on the posts of the new members. For a new forum to acquire walk-in members, it has to have a semblance of a beehive. For me to join a forum, what I look for after seeing the boards are interesting threads. So if there are no threads then I don't consider it a forum.
