Fake signatures on a forum

Do you ever find that new members use fake signatures on your forum? If so, how do you deal with this? Do you ban the member?

Fake signatures are common for forum spammers. And, this is easily dealt with. Simply ban the member and instantaneously delete all forum posts they made. That sends a message to other would be fake signature spammers to stay off the forum. c:

I agree, banning and deleting his/her posts is the best way to dealt with them.

Banning is a great way to get rid of them. But sometimes when members are banned, their posts still show up. So make sure that you are going to delete the posts as well or else others will still be able to see the posts.

I guess that you should ban them then. What is the point in having a fake signature anyway? Does it lead you to another site?
