    5 Legit Ways To More Twitter Followers

    1. Show Your Twitter Profile Everywhere
    Put links to your Twitter profile on your Youtube account, Facebook, Linkedin etc. Also include your twitter profile within your signature in Forums you are active in.

    2. Tweet Daily
    You should always try to tweet at least a couple of times per day. Not one and not a hundred tweets. Perhaps five or six tweets per day. This will make people find you and follow you.

    3. Use Hashtags
    Always use relevant hashtags. You could use a few hashtags within each tweets but don't overdo this.

    4. Provide Quality Content
    Always make your tweets high quality and valuable. You will get more followers by tweeting quality high quality.

    5. Tweet Photos/Screenshots and Pictures.
    Photos and pictures are often heavily retweeted. Remember to use hashtags in your tweets and they will bring you even more retweets and followers.

    A social media management tool called Buffer, analyzed well over 4.8 million tweets across 10,000 profiles. Here is what they found:
    - Early morning tweets receive the most clicks
    - Evening tweets receive the most retweets.

    Thanks for sharing your tips hitmasap. Another good way to get legitimate followers is to join follow for follow schemes. There are some twitter accounts that will follow you back if you follow them and you can also do the same for their followers. One example is: https://twitter.com/followbacklist. This is a good way to get free and real followers in a short period of time. This is very effective because you are effectively growing your twitter account by exchanging follows. There are also websites out there to see who has unfollowed you so you can unfollow them if they unfollowed you.

    Nice tips hitmeasap, these are always helpful for Twitter noobs and pros alike to refresh their skills with. One of my most effective way of gaining more targeted Twitter followers is to follow your competitors followers. Or not necessarily your competitors, but those who are following accounts that are similar in nature or niche to yours. It's likely they followed them in the first place because they was interested in what their Twitter account was about. So it's likely that when you follow them, they will follow you back as well because they're probably interested in what your Twitter account is all about. This is an excellent and ethic way of "poaching" your competitors followers. ;)

    You miss the obvious: Follow people
    When you follow people, you are likely to be reciprocated. You follow a person, he/she will follow back. However, while following try to avoid people who have very large followers. These people will never care who is following them. Instead, follow people who have a small number of followers. Like you these people are also trying to increase followers therefore, they care about their followers.

    Very apt and concise tips.you capture it perfectly well.Twitter needs daily upload or some followers will unfollow you.you need to always share interesting tweets and don't flood your handle with too many ads,it will make your followers to feel disgusted.

    Nice tips, probably all are helpful. I like the hashtag thing more, like it probably helps you in getting more audience or followers that you can imagine. But it probably the depends on the thing you would post if people would like it or not. Anyways, great share!

    If you combine the #2 and #4 in the list of tweeting daily and providing quality content then I guess you get more followers. In social media, my experience in following a person is when the post is usually interesting. It doesn’t matter if you are not good in composing especially in English. What I look for is the information that you will share whether it is a news item or something new about anything. I am sick and tired of re-tweets about a death of a celebrity which is fake news.
