    Are cheap prices causing a drop in sales?

    Anyone notice a drop in sales nowadays? Do you get regular sales from repeat customers on seoclerks? I noticed a drop in sales somewhat because people here only prefer cheap services.

    A lot of people will try out cheaper services and get burned then not return to the credible sellers. I've seen it a ton of times with services here on SeoClerks and on my own websites where I sell much more expensive services. A lot of sellers will think "oh hey! I can do this and sell it for cheaper!" and they will sacrifice quality for a speedy and cheap service. I actually pay double what some sellers are selling for because I know a service is much higher quality. I'll try some cheaper services on tier 2 links and blogs in my private blog network because I can just take down the page if it's a bad service. I'll never aim a cheap service at my homepage unless it's from a seller I've worked with in the past and they have always shown a positive result.

    There's definitely a good side of your competitors offering services cheaper than yours though. I say this because people will buy from you and love your work, then they'll buy from the cheaper service and hate it. Now you have a dedicated buyer because they know you have the golden service and they'll gladly pay a few extra bucks for your work Are cheap prices causing a drop in sales?

    In the end, don't get too discouraged. Yeah it sucks not making a sale all the time, but when the buyer comes back to you, you know they'll be coming back for a long time since the cheaper seller offered a less than great experience for them Are cheap prices causing a drop in sales?

    Can't say so, I'm selling more nowadays, had a fairly good month in May, hope sales in June/July are the same too. I do get a fair amount of repeat/regular buyers too. But that's just me. I wouldn't say people here only prefer cheap services though. People prefer value for money. Cheap services often come with a cheap service too. People like high quality services and are willing to pay the extra for it. Your drop in sales probably isn't because those services are for sale at cheaper prices. There's a lot of things to take into consideration, times you bump, your service description etc. By the way, I notice you've not taken our advice yet for your infographic service which you posted about here. If you want to get more sales, you should take up that advice offered in that FAQ and and make the relevant changes (to all your services) and then you will make more sales!     As a customer myself, I always prefer cheap services. Even though I got low quality services in the past for a cheap price, I still tend to go for cheaper services because I like saving money. However, of course, I will go for the cheapest price for sellers who have good reviews. The people who are really getting the sales are the people who offer good services for a cheap price. I haven’t really noticed a drop in sales. However, the cheaper services seems to be more popular than more expensive services. Maybe that shows a pattern? Recently, I put one of my services on sale and still didn’t get any sales. I also don't seem to getting very many repeat customers.

    To me you have some valid points. Because most of the people have this mindset - "cheap price=cheap quality". And you can not blame that mindset also as it is because our human psychology. So yes cheap price may affect in getting sales as well. There are buyers who are ready to spend thousands of dollar if not more. But when he/she sees a bunch of $1 services, he/she may think - "oh these are so cheap, it must be low quality; I will look elsewhere"

    Several buyers will consider the price first and foremost. However there are several others who look for the seller's reputation or rating, check comments made by previous buyers, and how much experience one has. Considering these aspects such buyers feel more confident paying a little more and getting a better service in return. It is all about striking the right balance after all. I think that beginners deserve a chance to start off, and they can generally do this by offering a low price. However experienced freelancers are bound to retain a good number of loyal clients who are so satisfied with their service that they would not dream trying anybody else's. This is what happened in my case at least.

    Hi since joining of SEOclerks, I never see my sale drop dramatically. Yes each month it will not be equal but somewhat ups and down you may see. And I never sale my service with cheap rate. Rather I always try to give fair price to my clients. And I saw lot of user selling cheap service which looking like my service. But I never decrease my price and I do not say my sale has decrease due to them. Rather I tried to increase more quality of my service. And I have many repeat customer who purchasing service from me very regularly. And lastly I would like to say buyer always does not look cheap price rather they want quality.
